Five individuals have been charged with conspiracy to distribute ketamine in relation to the death of actor Matthew Perry.
Multiple arrests have been made in connection with the fatal overdose of the renowned actor.
U.S. Attorney Martin Estrada announced at a press conference on Thursday morning that charges have been laid against two physicians, Perry's live-in assistant, and an individual known as "the Ketamine Queen," who is alleged to have supplied Perry with ketamine before his demise.
A criminal probe was initiated following the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's determination that Perry's death was caused by "the acute effects of ketamine." The "Friends" star was discovered deceased in his swimming pool on October 28, 2023.
