The father of Colt Gray, a 14-year-old accused of murdering four individuals at Apalachee High School, was taken into custody on Thursday, as reported by law enforcement officials in Georgia.
Colin Gray, aged 54, was charged with four counts of involuntary manslaughter, two counts of second-degree murder, and eight counts of cruelty to children, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
“These charges arise from Mr. Gray knowingly allowing his son Colt to possess a weapon,” declared Chris Hosey, director of the Georgia Bureau of Investigations, during a Thursday evening press conference.
